This procedure supercedes our procedure for connecting to the Microsoft Online Services (MOS). Microsoft's new Office 365 is the new platform for office connectivity and uses the new Microsoft Exchange 2010 mail server to power their mail services. This procedure assumes that you already have the latest iOS (5.0.1 as of this writing). Pictures below will be show for both the iPad and the iPhone.

 

  1. On your iDevice click on the Settings icon.



  2. Click on Mail, Contacts, Calendar setting.

  3. Select Microsoft Exchange.

  4. On the "Enter your Exchange Information" screen do as follows and then click Next:

    Domain: Leave this field blank
    Username: Enter your e-mail address again
    Password: Enter your password
    Description: Enter your e-mail address one more time

  5. Your iOS device will now try to locate your Exchange Server. If necessary, you will need to enter your front-end Exchange Server's complete address in the Server field. If the field is not pre-populated automatically enter the following information and then hit Next.

  6. Choose which content you would like to synchronize: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders. Tap Save when finished.
