Follow these instructions to setup the iPhone with iOS 4.x to the new Microsoft Online Services as well as for Office 365. When directions differ for Office 365 we will notate them as follows: Office 365
- Open the Settings App on the iPhone
- Once in the Settings App scroll down if necessary and select Mail, Contacts, Calendar
- Once in Mail, Contacts, Calendar select the Add Account... option.
- Select the Microsoft Exchange option.
- Enter your information and press Next. The system will verify your information.
Email: Enter your complete email address
Domain: Leave empty
Username: Enter your username (someone@yourdomain.com or someone)
Password: Enter your password
Description: Enter your e-mail address again. - After a little while of verification you will get the following screen that asks for the server. Fill out as follows.
North America Server: red001.mail.microsoftonline.com (the first part is red zero zero one)
OR
Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Server: red002.mail.emea.microsoftonline.com
OR
Asia Pacific (APAC) Server: red003.mail.apac.microsoftonline.comOffice 365
All servers for Office 365: m.outlook.com
- If all is well you will get the following screen for a few moments and then it will disappear.
- Finally you will get the following screen. Make sure that ALL (Mail, Contacts and Calendar) are set to ON and then hit Save.
- After you do you will get a final Configured Sync screen and then it will exit automatically to your email accounts page.
